Coronavirus Update

Parkefarm is committed to the well-being of our customers, which is why we’re following NHS guidelines to keep you and our team as safe as possible during this difficult time. We want to reassure you that we are working to minimise disruption to our manufacturing, distribution and national aftersales support with the following measures already taken.

Please note; all staff members have been issued with guidance in line with current government advice for the COVID 19 virus, all work spaces and shared communal areas have Hand Sanitizer and Disinfectant sprays in order to clean the area prior to and following any usage.

1. Manufacturing – Hardware – Software:

Hardware – Weighbridges and weighing scales.

Full production is continuing at our facility in Chesterfield for weighbridges, industrial scales and associated peripherals, we do not envisage any interruption to our main production schedule due to a lack of key components in the coming months.

Software

Our software development team is fully operational with “Smart“ working practise in place, this will limit the amount of contact between the development team in order to reduce the risk of cross contamination and to keep the full software development schedule on track.

2.Distribution

Deliveries of finished goods throughout the UK remains currently unaffected, our contracted delivery vehicles are working currently with 100% capacity, we have contracts in place with multiple suppliers in order to reduce the risk of having the effect of COVID 19 on a single supplier preventing deliveries.

3.National aftersales support

Service Desk

Our dedicated aftersales service desk support team is fully operational with “Smart“ working practise in place, this will limit the amount of contact between the service desk team in order to reduce the risk of cross contamination and to keep the full aftersales service support team operational.

Field Based Technicians

We are also in communication with customers who require details of the current health status of our field-based technicians, countries visited in the last four weeks and additional requirements for enhanced Risk Assessments where necessary.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Yours Sincerely
