The entry gate slides upwards, allowing the lamb or sheep to step onto a stable, unmoving floor for accurate weighing. The weigh cage moves vertically on sealed bearings with minimal movement in other directions, helping to improve stability and consistency. Increased access and the ability to angle the weigh head to face left, right, or forward also make grading and handling easier for the operator. Each unit is supplied with a highly visible display, a bright red stable light to clearly indicate when a stable weight has been achieved, a fine mode for improved resolution at lower weights, auto power-off after 15 minutes to extend battery life, and faster charging for added convenience.
