The versatile AgriD800 weight terminal comes pre-loaded with Parkerfarm’s standard agricultural software program. This user-friendly system provides a wide range of additional operational features for the storage and use of data relating to crops, fields and moisture content.

Within the crops and fields feature, the operator can store more than 300 items in each menu. Each time a weighment is made, the running total is updated and saved in the unit’s secure memory. This allows, for instance, the operator to keep check on the total amount of different crops such as barley, wheat and rape seed that is brought in to storage silos or bins. The AgriD800 also has the capability to store information relating to the amount of crops brought from a particular field by the day, week or month, allowing farmers to calculate yields.

The tractor preset tare feature is designed to speed up weighing procedures, a particularly important factor at busy harvest times. In parallel, the system can also be pre-programmed with a particular crop and field relating to where the tractor is working at a given time. When the driver arrives at the weighbridge, he simply enters his tractor code and the system automatically recognises the vehicle tare weight, crop and location. A simple press of the print key is all that is then needed to provide a permanent net weight record with no need for a second weighing.

The AgriD800 is also capable of adjusting harvested crop weights for known moisture content so that the amount printed on the ticket is the calculated net dried value. Data from the AgriD800 can be printed off or transferred directly to a PC in Excel spreadsheet format via the serial port. Although primarily used for weighbridge applications, the AgriD800 can also be used with other weighing equipment including weigh beams, pallet weighers and floor scales.
